Welcome to Metro Pageants. This website serves as an informational source for pageants and related events taking place or with their headquarters located in the States of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Metro Pageants does not discriminate when listing a pageant or event as requested by it's Director or official representative. By no means is a listing on this site to be taken as an endorsement of that system by Metro Pageants. Metro Pageants is a member and visitor driven website where much of the content is supplied by our members and guests. Metro Pageants reserves the right to refuse a pageant listing to any persons or pageants it so chooses.

Directors requesting a listing must supply the following information to Metro Pageants: Pageant or Event name, Date of Event, Location of event, mailing address, phone number, or email address contact to the event's director, and website link/s if there is one available.

Metro pageants is not responsible the qualifications of persons who list themselves as a judge in our Judges Directory. Directors considering using a Judge from the Directory should contact the potential judge prior to their event, for more information on their qualifications or experience as a pageant, talent or model judge. Metro Pageants will not contact potential judges for Pageant Directors, nor vise versa. All contact between event directors and potential judges is private and confidential.

Metro Pageants will list only a potential contestant's name, email address, age, state, and the types of contests/competitions they are interested in on the Contestant listings page. For privacy and personal safety reasons, no one will be asked for their home mailing address or phone number, nor will these things be listed. Persons asking for a listing will however be asked their age, this also will not be published. Metro Pageants will not list anyone under the age of 18 in our Contestant Listings. Metro Pageants is not responsible for the honesty of persons requesting and/or receiving a contestant listing on our website.

Metro Pageants is not responsible for the quality, price, shipping, payements or other variables involved with the sale or purchase of items listed on the Metro Couture page. Metro Pageants is also not involved in any part of the sale of items, nor does Metro Pageants take any commission from sale of any item/s made through our website. Sellers are responsible to be honest in their listing of any item/s. Buyers must personally contact the owner for details regarding the sale of said item/s. All sales are private and Metro pageants cannot and will not be held liable or resonsible in any way for the sale, delivery, quality or payments regarding items listed by private sellers on our website.

The opinions stated in any Guest Article may not be that of the Metro Pageants Staff and/or Administrator though they are hosted and archived here. Metro Pageants accepts articles written and submitted by our members only. Each article submitted is reviewed and chosen for it's quality and broad base appeal to appear in the Guest Article section of this website. Credit for published articles will be given to the member who submitted it.

Articles must not contain any negative comments about certain pageants, or people and must not contain any disrciminatory references, phrases or quotes. Articles must not contain any profanity, or other language that might be considered adult in nature. Article must not have any references, addresses or links to websites, magazines, television or radio shows, or other materials that might be considered pornographic or adult materials.

Metro Pageants will check each and every link that is requested to be placed on our links page. Links must be to legitimate pageant events or related topics, items. Links to websites that contain nudity, partial nudity, or any type of pornographic or adult materials will not be listed.

Membership is open to any interested persons involved in the pageant, talent or modeling industries as a contestant or contestant friend or family member, director, judge, or fan. Potential Members do not need to live in the immediate New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania area. Potential Members must be over the age of 18, or have their parent's or legal guardian's permission to become a member. A parent's or legal guardian's email address must be supplied or application will be void. Parent/legal guardian of any applicant will be contact by the Metro Pageants Administrator to verify his/her permission for said minor to become a member.

Potential Members applying for membership must supply Metro Pageants with certain personal information including a home or other mailing address. This information will be used only to supply members who join before December 31, 2001 with their FREE copy of the Metro Pageants Newsletter. This information will be classified with Metro Pageants and will not be sold, published, traded or otherwise made public in any way.

Members will be supplied with a password to the Members Only area which contains our message boards, chats and more. The Metro Pageants website is rated "G" and will remain a place where children are safe to surf. Metro Pageants will not accept or allow abusive or negative behaviors from website members or visitors. Members who abuse the priveledges given to them with membership will have that membership revoked and be banned from all further access to message boards, chats, or any and all other parts of the website including the Contestant, Judges or Pageant listings.

Membership into Metro Pageants is at the discression of the Metro Pageant Staff and/or Administrator and initial membership may be denied by us without explanation. Metro Pageants has the right to at any time revoke the Membership of any individual/s who abuse the priveledges given them by their membership with Metro Pageants. Membership is free to all accepted and is for life or until the member chooses to cancel his/her membership.
